From New York to Los Angeles, Christiena Taralson has performed throughout the United States on some of the biggest stages in the trumpet world. Taralson is currently a professional musician in the Navy Band Southwest in San Diego, CA. Before beginning her career in the Navy, she was a graduate teaching assistant in trumpet at Florida State University working on her Doctorate in Music. She earned her Masters in Music Performance at Michigan State University under the direction of Professor Justin Emerich, and her Bachelors in Music Performance at the University of North Dakota under the tutelage of Dr. Ronnie Ingle.
